(April, 2015 – Southampton, NY) – Taste of Tuckahoe, the premier spring event in the Hamptons and benefiting the Tuckahoe School, is inviting the community to celebrate its fifth anniversary on Friday, April 24th from 7:00-10:00 p.m. at 230 Elm. Celebrity radio personality Walker Vreeland will host this premiere event, which brings restaurants, bakeries, breweries, and wineries from the East End together under one roof to highlight their culinary talents and signature drinks for the community to enjoy. Ticket cost is $35.00 in advance, and $40.00 at the door, and can be purchased at Southrifty Drug, from committee members (contact Kathy Grigo at above number), or via the website at www.TasteofTuckahoe.com. This year’s special VIP hour from 6:00-7:00 p.m. will include a cooking demonstration by Tutto il Giorno Executive Chef/Partner Maurizio Marfoglia and Southampton Chef de Cuisine Alexander Apparu, open bar for the hour, early access to the food and drinks at the event before the general admission, and a first look at the Chinese and Silent Auctions. Karine Bakhoum, of Iron Chef America fame, and Walker Vreeland will co-host the VIP hour, and DJ Chris Cenzoprano will round out the entire evening with an array of music that will keep everyone dancing.
This year’s returning participants include 1 North Steakhouse, 230 Elm, Backbar Grille, Blue Duck Bakery Cafe, Cowfish, DeJesus Deli, Edgewater Restaurant, The Golden Pear, Krieg’s Bakery, The Lobster Grille, Montauk Brewery, Old School Favorites, Palmer Vineyards, Pellegrino’s Pizza Bar & Restaurant, Rumba, South Fork Deli, Southampton Social Club, Stonecreek Inn, Townline BBQ, and Tully’s Seafood Market.
