Access to THE Hottest Restaurants in Miami, Chicago and New York has Arrived
Apple and iTunes got it right when they launched their ad campaign using the phrase, ‘there’s an app for that,’ in response to various obstacles. That’s because time and time again, that statement proves to be true! Now, subscribers will be able to use the phrase, ‘there’s an app for that’ in response to scoring hard-to-get reservations at top restaurants. That’s right! Mobile application, I Know The Chef (www.iknowthechef.com) is a concierge service that currently helps diners secure prime time reservations at top restaurants and nightclubs in New York City, and will be expanding to the Miami and Chicago markets starting March 11th.
Currently available in New York City, members of I Know The Chef have been receiving special treatment at top restaurants, such as The Musket Room, Catch, Marea, Lure Fishbar, ll Mulino, and more with a total number of 80 restaurants in the city. In addition to securing hard-to-get reservations at top restaurants in New York, members also receive preferred seating, VIP treatment such as an amuse bouche, glass of champagne or a greeting from the chef, to name a few. Now, with the expansion of I Know The Chef to Chicago and Miami, the same perks are available to members in all three cities. A perfect solution for foodies eager to try a new restaurant, business professionals looking to impress a client or a gentleman looking to excite their lady on a first date.
Created by Manhattan native Joshua Stern, the mobile app was created after he had exceptional service at one of his favorite restaurants in New York. Since he was friendly with the GM, Stern and his friend received a VIP table touch and were treated to complimentary edamame and shishito peppers. With a degree in Hospitality from Boston University, Stern knew diners would appreciate a service that offered access to top restaurants, as well as, on-the-house extras and VIP treatment. Today, Stern has over 14,000 members, which shows the demand for the service.
Now, with access to top restaurants in Miami including, Lure Fishbar, Eating House, The Bazaar and Katsuya at SLS, Catch, Mercadito, Bianca at the Delano, The Federal, BLT Steak, Lorenzo, Tongue & Cheek, etc, members have their pick of the litter, which also includes the list of restaurants in New York and Chicago. Restaurants that will launch with I Know The Chef in Chicago includes, Sunda, Nellcôte, RM Champagne Salon, Old Town Social, Mercadito, Roka Akor, Tavernita, Little Market Brasserie and others.
It’s free to sign up, then once members are ready to make a reservation, I Know The Chef will ask for you to choose your membership plan. The mobile application and website are available to members for $59.99 for their Quarterly Membership, $189.99 for their Annual and $399.99 for their Elite Annual, which includes even more VIP services such as full ‘Request’ access, priority on wait-lists, restaurant awareness of elite status and personal access to VIP reservation manager. Upon registering, users indicate their culinary preferences, such as seating preference, liquor preference, dietary restrictions, plus more, so the dining experience is tailored to their tastes. With future plans to open Las Vegas, Los Angeles and more cities in the coming months, diners will soon have VIP access to TOP restaurants across the US. And yes, now there’s an app for that too!
