Adrian Croom is a songwriter, composer and producer born and raised in Austin,Texas. With a captivating blend of trippy electronic synths, his music interweaves both dance and hip-hop elements.

Adrian’s story doesn’t start, or end with celebrating his music. His creative inspiration comes as much from his vastly varied musical influences as it does his commitment to working with special needs individuals and the various challenges and sense of accomplishment that comes with the territory.

Croom currently works as a provider for Austin Travis County Integral Care, which offers behavioral health and developmental disabilities services to those in need.
Prior to ATCIC, he spent 5 years at the Rosedale School in the AISD, whose mission is to support the unique needs of its students and provide a positive environment which prepares students to live, work and enjoy life in their community.

It was through these experiences that many of the titles of the songs from 2011’s Sub Rosa originate. “Morse Code” is named after Rosedale student Robbie Morse, whom Croom has worked with as a mentor for many years and with whom he has formed a permanent bond and friendship. The aptly titled track “The Ride” is named after the Rosedale Ride, an annual charity bicycle ride that benefits the non-profit’s students and programs.

Adrian Croom is a welcome presence to the electronic music world. His ear-catching sound is the result of a wide range of influences that include Hip-Hop, Electronic, World music and more, but perhaps it’s his pledge to improving the lives of others that captures the full essence of his art.

He possesses a rarefied combination of talent and compassion that truly makes him an artist worth discovering…and an example for all to be inspired by.
